We are leaving for the airport in a half hour. All bags are packed. One suitcase is 38 lbs, and the other is 39 lbs. The theory of using zip locks for everything and sucking all the air out worked! Massive amounts of stuff in each bag!
Mom is here and officially "on duty" with the dogs. We had a great birthday dinner with her last night at Texas Roadhouse. We practiced with Skype today so she is all set.
We have a four hour layover in Seattle before catching the red-eye to Beijing (via Taipei).
We're coming for you Lia!!! :)
